JFOL 2026 Annual Meeting
Join us at Willie Morris Library for a cup of coffee ☕️ from our friends at The Bean and a light snack from our friend and JFOL Board Member, Chef Hunter Evans of Elvie’s.
Members of the JHLS board and executive team will be with us to provide updates on Jackson’s libraries and answer any questions. JFOL will also provide an update on what we’ve been up to and what we have on the horizon.
If you’ve been wanting to get more involved or just learn more about what we do, this is the perfect place to start. If you’ve haven’t become a member yet, we can help you get signed up!
JFOL Book Sale
JFOL 2026 Book Sale will be held at Medgar Evers Library on Saturday, February 28th from 8:00-4:00PM. JFOL Members receive Early Bird shopping starting at 7:00AM a a cup of coffee on us!
Bring a friend and come find treasures. Prices can’t be beat.

Mississippi Book Festival
JFOL will have a tent on the Community Lawn at the 2025 Mississippi Book Festival. Stop by and say hello! New JFOL totes will be available for anyone who becomes a member at the Book Fest! Would you like to volunteer to help at the JFOL tent? Sign up here

Don't miss JFOL's Annual Book Sale. We'll have a great selection of books at prices that can't be beat. All proceeds go to Jackson Friends of the Library to help support and enhance Jackson's public library branches.

Sign Up to Volunteer. We’ll need volunteers to help us sort books leading up to the sale and we’ll also need volunteers on the day of the sale—Saturday, November 2nd. Come join us!
Donate Books! Need to clear out your bookshelves to make room for more? We’ll be accepting book donations at Willie Morris Library during normal library hours the week of October 21-25th.
